Not sure where this is going to go, tho I need to get it started, while HIS ‘Creative Juices’ are flowing. The last post (081022) was from the hip as I was writing, although chewing on the main ‘Topic’ for days and that came from another article I had been reading on Skepticism. It was as it was speaking directly to me.
Should you choose to go back and peruse it again, it was directly saying, (To me anyhow.) “That there is need to give the other person room.” When a person is ignored and wrote off, there is little hope in future communication, whether fellowship &/or ministry.
Two issues that I deal with, (Not close to perfect yet;-) the first one is irritation when interrupted. I lived with my Dad’s Baby sister while my Mother was in the hospital for over a year when I was eleven. Many things I was taught, while I was there.
Money was left out over time, the amount was increased at regular intervals, and I was told in my adult years later that my trust was proved. It lost it steam when I explained that even at 11, I was smart enough to know that should it come up missing that I was the only one who could have taken it.
That one above was a freebie as this is the one that pertains to my thought. She also taught me “We so often condemn others for our own worst faults.” Do you remember what I was talking about above with out going back up there to check? I just remembered a third thing. I had better finished this before my imperfections turn into a tome.
The irritability over being interrupted, is because I do it to others myself. To over come this I have tried not showing it when I am interrupted and it is getting better, as now I try not to do it myself. Of course, this leaves a monologue for the other person should they like to talk as much as I do.
Number two is I will justify my remarks &/or actions when they come under scrutiny. Even after walking with The Lord for over 3 decades, my tendency is to need to be right! There is no way to break this habit, yet to again resort to silence and let the other person have their victory. SEE! Even using that last word shows the pain that is involved.
Allow me to finish up using the third one I remembered above. Second place after being interrupted is not being ‘Paid Attention To’. ( I do not know if you caught that above or not.) Multi-taskers are not welcome! Just kiddin. It is hard, ‘not to go back’ and ask questions that have no value other than, seeing whether the person was paying attention or not.
My favorite is talking to a cultist and when it is my turn they are Busy Looking up the next reference. They will now go to when I finish my turn. As soon as I see that they have found their spot and has it marked with finger between the pages, when their eyes meet mine, I ask them, “ What is your take on that?” They shake their head and admit they missed the point and I start all over again, this time they are paying attention, because they know that there is something for them to answer.
As Always! Picking up your cross and seeing how much more there is to dying of self. Less of me my Lord that there will be more of YOU! How about you? I laid out some of my dirty laundry. Do you have any of yours that that needs at least some airing? Your Turn! In the meantime Be Blessed, 1 aka DP

More Thoughts: Business & Other Belief Systems
OK We go back to those Thoughts on Business and other Belief Systems.
The reason for the delay on getting down and dirty on this issue is that I was introduced to a continuation of my trek on writing. Always Faithful, The LORD allowed me to not only get encouragement on writing, yet at the same time learn to give my brethren who are judges even more room to allow GOD to work in their lives too. Twenty-five years ago I found myself, as the judge of the judges. What In The World Are You Talking About, you sez. I am glad you asked, I sez.
I had a ‘Left Brain’ direction that I was trying to get to, yet those random ‘Thoughts’ seem to take off in a tangent from the ‘Right Brain’ that keeps me from addressing ‘Business and other Belief Systems.
OK I give up! I would hear these Judges of The Brethren make statements like, that Ministry (And/Or Preacher) is a reproach to The Body Of Christ. My (our) Ministry is above admonishment, because I (we) would not allow anything like that to happen. I would think, “The Audacity of that person to judge his brother (Tho not admit he was.) that way. ‘Except for The Grace of GOD, there go I!’
I would beseech The Throne Of Grace with why … would they do that? … NO Why am I aware of this?
Finally, I heard, (Tho one of the reasons that I was having a hard time hearing, was because I did not want to hear that revelation!) “PRAY for him!” What a wrestling match that was!
It took a while to want to; yet finally after a season I found myself praying for the Audacious Judge.
WHOA! I need to back up. We were supporting a ministry on a regular basis for several years and one day I approached my wife with, “Are we to continue?” With out hesitation she said that she was about to ask me about it and we stopped support on the spot that day. Seven years later that ministry fell and it was from things that were going on seven years before, when quickened to stop support!
Then up jumped the ‘Audacious Judge’. And several months after that the ‘Audacious Judge’ was literally caught with his pants down. And after repenting and asking everyone under Heaven (Including his wife.) to forgive him, AGAIN Several months later in the same boat. (Cab)
I then knew why the calling to judge The Judges. So I could pray for them. All I can say is that I was glad my name was not Jim.
OK Be sure to Note! That there goes I, except for the Grace Of GOD! How big does the carrot need to be, before The Man of GOD files down that path? Now after that LONG Season of not being aware of the Judges, here I am Again. They are getting my prayers and watching closely … where I am at and where I am going. Pray for me Too! GOD Knows I need it!
All I know at this moment is, those above were ‘Random Thoughts’!
I will endeavor to get back to: “Thoughts! “Other Belief Systems For Business” soon. Keep your eye opened! Be Blessed! DP “I shall Return!”

'New Found Treasure' - LAIR OF THE PENMAN
Last week I found myself visiting the ‘Writing Den’ of an acquaintance that I met at the gym. First impressions are oft times deceiving, yet there was an unmistakable draw to know more about him.
Thru an exchange of WebBiz cards I ventured an investment of that un-replaceable commodity of time.
What I found was a hideaway of treasure needing exposed. Although a published author his presence on the web, looked like it may not have enjoyed being the well-traveled path. i.e. lacking ‘Comments’, which may be only my perspective.
I found these musings filled with an elegance of his prolific prose and poetry.
His thoughts on The Trek to finding that caring partner speak with experiential authority. I was reminded that I too, found that, that destiny was a gift to bask in.
The unfortunate not enduring the test of time, swallowed up in the hall of statistics. To appreciate the favor of The One who truly loves us, embedded in William Robbins’ writings.
How reassuring it is, to know after the trial of our faith that HE who is Faithful, ever present, even when we have not.
Having only a few of those precious moments, I highly recommend that you, Loved Of The Lord, invest a gander. You may find a thorough perusing warranted.
LAIR OF THE PENMANBack with more thoughts soon. Be Blessed, 1 aka DP

‘Consistency’ in Awareness!
More Thoughts
Loved of The LORD, to continue in this direction of conscious awareness, I was pleasantly surprised that writing enhanced and strengthened it. Let me explain.
I have this ‘little thing’ that bugs me. My neighbor has gofers and does not consistently eradicate them. The neighborhood is inundated with them, so it is an ongoing challenge. When one invades my premises, as soon as I am ‘aware’ I proceed to drown them out and/or gas bomb them. That way they do not get to establish their tunnel systems.
BTW! I have cursed them in JESUS’ Name and my neighbor 2 doors north has told me not to curse them in his direction! He has wound up with some in his yard, every time I have done it, whether it was the same one(s) or not.
Well, back to the chase! After writing ‘The Awareness’ I was heading out for another skirmish and I was making it a ‘Joint Venture’ and we, (HIM and I) were agreed how we were going to approach the endeavor. It was a GREAT two hours as we destroyed the tunnels back into the neighbor’s yard. We finished off the task with a gas bomb in the other yard.
Soon after, I found myself in the car on the way to the gym and very ‘aware’ that I was not alone. I found myself driving like it was my first time, so ‘aware’ of every thought and action, while on our way. During these times we were relating to how instrumental that writing ‘The Awareness’ was like a catalyst for this ongoing conversation.
Funny (Not Ha Ha) that I started yesterday morning out with Watching a video that our friend down under sent a link to us ... Louie Giglio . On GODTube.. ... YET not half way thru it and Conference Calls (for Business) started … and I went full bore from then on, except for another 2 hour "Gofer Battle" Break!
Later that day, as I replied to an e-mail with the 'When God Paints' link, I then went back and watched Louie all over again from the beginning! Good Stuff! Just what I needed to go along with 'The Awareness'!
I do have to admit that those last 3 hours were a solo run. I have been trying since last Sunday to figure out AdSense and get it on the rest of my Blogs and had a ‘near miss’ awareness. My 'Near Miss' was I finally got it on dpg.com and back up into Awareness and that was where I watched ‘When God Paints' etc.
This might or might not seem like a bunch of babble to you, yet I am excited about ‘How Good my GOD Is’ in answering my need. Should this speak to you, I would appreciate your comments below.
Until next time, Be Blessed, 1 aka DP is my name and ‘Writing is my game’!

“My Need To Be In HIS Presence More Of The Time!”
More Thoughts!
Loved of the LORD, I have been giving thought to what are some of the more Important things that should be evident on my plate. Not just to have something to write here in this Blog, yet for my attention on a regular basis.
As believers we all want to sanctify the Lord God in our hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks us a reason for the hope that is in us, with meekness and fear; ( 1 Peter 3:15) As well as, to Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. (2 Tim. 4:2) every chance we get.
Nevertheless, while I am all involved with what is going on in front of me, especially to go through a door when it opens, regardless of being spiritual or mundane, I want to be ‘aware’ of being in HIS Presence.
Allow me to address the mundane from my perspective, having no doubt others will differ. Call me an opportunist you may, yet I have not received a morsel of nourishment from a raven, while in my need. (1 Kings 17:6;) Not that I have any doubt, that that may still be the case. So I believe I still need to be scratching while I am able, (Matthew 6:26;) unless directed otherwise.
As far as the spiritual aspects, most of you have a good understanding of those kinds of things, though if you do not; leave a comment below desiring to know the same.
I am not able to think of anything that may be on one’s plate that is not either Spiritual or Mundane, so allow me to move on. Nevertheless, feel free to jump in with comments at any time. Contributions are really appreciated!
SO! Back to the plate and taking care of those thing! Unless you are a hermit, we are always with people somewhere around us. How many times have you been right in the middle of something and you are presented with someone with a need? Several examples come to mind.
So many times, I am busy, as I am right now and my wife or another member of the family wants me to do something or give them something. How about the panhandler on the off ramp of the freeway with that proverbial sign, ‘Will Work For Food’? What about on the job?
I do not know about you, yet I seem to respond (or at times, not respond,) with past experiences and (What I think,) what other people would think that I should do and apply what will take care of the situation at hand. Getting on with dealing with the plate in front of me is primarily the cause my action (Or lack of action), hardly ever seeking what God would prefer me to do in each situation.
Now not that I have attained, (Philip. 3:12;) yet I have tasted the blessing of being aware of being in HIS Presence and doing what ‘I Know’ HE is preferring, regardless of what anyone else would think that "I Should Do” and letting the chips fall were they may.
Now, cutting to the chase; my need is, “To Be There More Of The Time”, hoping for the completion that I will have at HIS coming. I am gaining though it is not as fast as I would like it to be, yet exercises, as writing this Post helps me along the way.
My prayer is that this has been a help to others … … … and to afford others the opportunity to suggest how I may excel even more, by commenting below!
Be Blessed my brethren! I shall return, DP aka 1

Preachers In An Insane Asylum! ~ ~ Or Crazy Preachers!
‘The Book’
Loved of The LORD, There does not seem to be any Chronological Order to this ‘The Book’ so far. Writing as given Direction for now, then some order when it is put together to be published.
We continue, this week, with our ‘
The young folks in our crew seem to be happy about the opportunity. The paid interpreter was always happy no matter where we went to minister. Keeping my mouth closed and again trusting God to receive The Glory was by this time a disciplined routine. At least until Pat and I were alone to discuss it more in depth.
My Mother had a nervous breakdown when I was 10. She found herself admitted into the State Facility for patients with mental disorders and problems. Family and friends housed my siblings and me for a little over a year. This was the nearest situation to the mental issue per se in my experience.
My wife and I were a part of some meetings about demonology and had an understanding about how to recognize and then minister when confronted by the enemy. Nevertheless, we did not pursue it any and was blessed not being called to that ministry full time, though found ourselves there several different times. Always blessed by seeing the results, yet we never really looked for those kinds of opportunities.
With the apprehension leaving in stages, we easily gained entrance to the hospital. Patrick arranged our meeting before hand and we moved into sort of an assembly room. Here many of the patients were waiting in what seem to be great expectation. At times radical behavior consisting of erratic physical actions and/or vocal exclamations ensued, of which some, learning later, were Russian expletives.
Our group taught the patients and encouraged them to sing, Russian Praise and Worship songs to The Lord with us even with the outbreaks of extreme conduct. Patrick would preach, with the translator interpreting in between the songs.
We had one and a half hours to minister and then lunchtime for the patients. Patrick promised that we would pray for healing and other needs. When the singing was over the patients wanting prayer then formed a line, immediately almost without any direction.
Everyone wanting prayer received it from Patrick and myself, as others in the group would interpret and of course agree.
I am writing this as, if being some kind of expert in Demon possession and oppression, yet keep in mind the experience in the past, had been sporadic and only at a few different occasions. To tell you the truth I am still glad that God had not called us to full time ministry in demonology and practice, though those times, for sure, were examples to trust Him now. At this time, I was not comfortable at all, probably why, so much success. To God Be The Glory!
There was one young woman that was convinced that the devil owned her soul and she knew she was bound for hell. She was coherent and cognitive to a certain extent, yet periodically showed signs of multiple personality disorder. She had been abused over the years and been taken advantage of. The Holy Spirit gave direction for the right questions to ask.
She answered the questions with her understanding of Whom God was and what she guessed HE would do when asked. The ‘Addresses’ of where the quoted Scripture’s were, flowed almost magically. Continually guided to refute her premises with the Word and those with me would look up the scriptures, when quoted and showing them to her, in a Russian Bible, as confirmation of what God had said. (Was Saying.)
Her right hand crippled over the years, we learned, by a gradual response to her proclamations of the bondage to the devil’s influence over her life. The only way to describe it is to take your left hand and pull the right thumb tight as you can to your wrist with your left thumb. See picture below.
After forty-five minutes or so, we were making progress, having come against the evil influence whenever it hindered in Jesus’ Name. The other patients went to lunch, as Patrick now join us in prayer and agreement.
She finally came to a place to understand that the influence would not have any power when she renounced it in Jesus’ Name. We continued binding the enemy and loosing the understanding and she confesses Jesus as her Savior and The Lord of her life.
Explaining that now she was a child of The Living God, we encouraged her now to see HIM as The Great Physician too. I took her right hand in both of mine and given direction to come against the enemy’s bondage of her crippled hand, in Jesus’ Name.
You might be wondering about being redundant about using Jesus’ name, Nevertheless, every thing that was accomplished while being over there was done in Jesus’ Name and for HIS Glory!
Satan was bound and healing was loosed, we all watched amazed as her hand started to straighten itself and in two or three minutes it was normal. We all rejoiced with her, as she was now thanking God and giving HIM the glory. She had gained full use of her hand and now she shook hands with all of us to prove the completeness of use.
We encouraged her to read the bible we gave her and to be where she could hear The Word taught to strengthen her in her walk. Romans 10:17 So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Saying good-bye and promising to come back again in a few weeks, we left the warmness of the facility and were never bothered by the two and a half feet of snow. We waited the hour for the next bus back to our part of town, laughing and rejoicing in what we had seen God do that day.
There were several patients had confessed Christ through Pat’s Preaching and as far as we were concerned it had been a ‘
